Precautionary measures against the spreading of the novel coronavirus

At Universal Life the health and safety of our clients, our employees and their families remains our top priority. We are therefore taking all necessary precautionary measures against the spreading of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), while at the same time we have made special arrangements to secure the uninterrupted provision of services to our valued customers.

In order to ensure your safety, we have taken all necessary steps so that we can continue providing our services without requiring or minimizing the need for your physical presence at our offices.

 

 

Submission of Health Claims:

  • We encourage you to take advantage of our new client web portal U connect to submit your health claims online. If you haven’t already registered with U connect you can visit https://uconnect.unilife.com.cy/en and follow the instructions for the registration of new users.
  • In case you prefer to personally submit your health claims, you can place them in one of the boxes that have been placed at the entrance of our offices and branches. Please insert all documents in the envelope that we provide at the entrance, seal it and place it in the box. We also kindly request that after entering our offices, you disinfect your hands using the sanitizer gel specifically placed for this purpose.

Premium Payments:

  • In case you haven’t already signed a direct debit mandate (SEPA) in order to make premium payments directly from your bank account, we encourage you to visit our client web portal U connect and electronically sign the relevant form.
  • Alternatively, you can pay your premiums directly at our commercial bank accounts preferably through electronic banking, mentioning your policy number with each payment.
  • Premium Payments can also be made at our Company’s Headquarters. However, for safety reasons we encourage you to use one of the above two payment methods.

Payments to our Customers:

  • Please be informed that for safety reasons, all payments to our customers will be made by direct tranfer to their bank accounts.
  • For health claims, payments will be made by direct credit. In case you haven’t already signed a direct credit form, please note that this process can be easily done through the U connect client web portal by electronically signing the relevant form 
  • For payments related to life insurance policies, the Beneficiary's IBAN Certificate must be sent in order for the Company to proceed with the transfer.

In addition to the above mentioned features, through U connect you will be able to: 

  • Check the status of your health claims
  • Check your premium payments history
  • Print useful documents (e.g. income tax statement)
  • Check your policy effective/termination dates
  • Check your policy benefits
